Scenes From A Birthday

My side of the family always says that Bill is the closest thing our family has to Batman.  So, it seemed only right to throw him a Batman themed party.

Here the kids are waiting for him to walk in the door from work.

We had a very special dinner, a-la Wegman's:  Stuffed mushrooms, lobster bisque, flank steak, veggies, and potato salad.  My gift to Bill this year was me not cooking ;)

For dessert we had the Wegman's Ultimate White Cake.  If you are lucky enough to live near a Wegman's, go and treat yourself to one of these.

Go. Right now.  I'll wait for you.

You're back?  Good.  Now before this post starts to look like I love Wegman's more than my husband, let's get back to the birthday pictures.

    Love the picture of the kids waiting for your husband to walk in the door. Dinner sounds wonderful...my best gift to my husband is me not cooking as well. :)

    Hi Kathleen! Happy Birthday to your own Batman! We don't live near a Wegman's, actually I've never heard of them. But I'll take your word for it, and I'm sure everyone loved it.
    The dinner sounds AMAZING. Wow. Now I know what I should ask for next year for my birthday!

    How fun to get the kids involved too. Bet he loved that!
