Backing up to February, we've had our usual and unusual happenings.
First up, our girl went to her first school dance. She and a group of her girl friends met up with a group of the boy friends (not boyfriends) beforehand and had some chow.
GULP!
And, not to brag (but really - to brag) check out "M" for Mom there. A Turkey and a pretty darn good score, if I do say so myself.
Matthew just finished up his first season of basketball.

Mary, Tommy, and Ann were in the Parade of Shamrocks. It was freezing, but fun.
That's Mary in the middle. |
Thawing out on the ride home. |
Tommy's Jazz Band has had competitions every Friday in March.
And last but not least....
Our girl Ann just celebrated a birthday. It fell on the 3rd snow day we had last week, so she was happy there was no school that day.

Another big deal is that she can sit in the front seat of the car now that she's 12.
Apparently this fact needed to be documented on my phone.
Happy Birthday Ann. We love you!
Happy Birthday to your lovely young lady!
ReplyDeleteAnd wow!!!
Awesome job on that cake!
And...a driver???
I see Dad is copilot, huh?
Same here. : )
Always love catching up with you and your lovely family.
Next time we get together, let's go bowling!!!!!!
Great updates! I feel like the kids grew up 3 years in the short 3 months since Chriatmas!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your every day happenings!! See you guys soon!
Happy Birthday Ann!
I think Bill should use his photo as his profile picture at work!
Impressive 161!!
Everybody's looking good and happy.
ReplyDeleteOh, that cake looks delish!
So much fun here! The dance, they looked lovely and handsome!! And we are big fans of boy friends. David and I have encouraged our girls to learn how to communicate with the opposite sex without all the drama. ;)
ReplyDeleteThe permit. Isn't that a CRAZY feeling?! And wow! I can totally see the resemblance between father/son.
Bowling. You rock. I stink. Actually, a drink and half of a game later, I can perform fairly well. But, about half way through the second game? Forget about it. LOL
"Fun for the whole family" pic. HA HA HA HA HA!
The parade looked fun (and cold)!
And most importantly, happy birthday to you sweet Ann!! Wishing her abundant blessings throughout the year.
Ohhhhh the first high school dance! She looks BEAUTIFUL, love her dress. Also congrats to Billy on starting to drive! Just catching up on your blog now :)
