Traffic accidents and the weather stopped us from getting to his baptism on time. We had driven about forty miles of the sixty mile ride and had to turn around. We were all so disappointed.
The kids were disappointed because four hours in the car with nothing to show for it really wasn't fun; and I was disappointed because I haven't met Andrew yet and this is the only picture I have of him and well... just look at him and his mohawk.

And if that isn't cute enough, remember my twin nephews I blogged about back in September?
They went from looking like this....
To this.....
And if that doesn't get you smiling on a Monday morning, nothing will.
Sorry you missed your visit, Kathleen.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are safe and sound...
And those twins!!!!
Those smiles!!
Thanks for the happiness this morning! : )
...and now I want a boy :)
ReplyDeleteIt got me smiling, indeed! :)
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you didn't make it...but glad you got home safely.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Mary! xo
ReplyDeleteHi Kathleen! Well, it's Tuesday, but your photo's did make me smile! We had such miserable weather in the midwest too...so much ice and many car accidents. I'm so glad you decided to turn around, although I'm sure it killed you to make that decision.
ReplyDeleteThose babies are just precious! And so photogenic! I do remember the first time their baptism photo was on your blog. How can that much time have gone by? I must be getting really old...
I hope the roads are better today. It's almost zero today. Balmy!
Blessings on your Tuesday,
Ceil
